Five-Tier Japanese Pagoda Garden Retreat

📐 Build steps

   Choose a scenic, elevated site and lay a large stone foundation courtyard as your garden base. Building the courtyard first gives you a flat canvas and lets you center the pagoda precisely before committing to the tower.

   Unlock the Japanese-style building pieces, then lay the ground tier of the pagoda in the courtyard center. Frame the doorway on the side facing your planned entry path so the torii gates will line up with it later.

   Cap the first tier with sloped Japanese roof pieces around the perimeter only, leaving the center open, then place the second tier''s floor on that opening. The exposed roof ring becomes the signature pagoda skirt between floors.

   Repeat the shrink-and-skirt pattern upward: each new tier steps in and gets its own roof ring. Keep window pieces on alternating faces so light bands wrap the tower as it rises.

   Top the final tier with a full pitched Japanese roof meeting at a center peak, and add a spire decoration if you have one unlocked. Check the silhouette from a distance and adjust roof pieces until every tier reads as a clean horizontal line.

   Build an interior staircase hugging one wall of each tier, cutting floor hatches where stairs pass between levels. Furnish each floor with tatami-style flooring, paper lanterns, low tables, and your bed on the quiet top floor.

   Lay the approach: a straight stone path from the courtyard edge to the pagoda door, passing under two or three torii-style gates spaced evenly. Line the path with stone lanterns or torches placed symmetrically on both sides.

   Landscape the remaining courtyard as a zen garden: raked-look stone flooring panels, clustered plant decorations, a small pond or hot spring on one side, and defensive walls replaced by low wooden fences so the view stays open.

   Add ambient lighting for the night silhouette - lanterns on each roof skirt corner and warm lights inside every tier so the tower glows through the windows. Keep a handful of cute grazing Pals like Lamball assigned here purely as garden residents.
