📐 Build steps

1. 1

   Fly to northwest Sakurajima and scout the open flat holding two oil field nodes. Place the Palbox between the fields so both sit inside the radius, then clear hostile spawns before you start building - enemies here are level 50 or higher.

   Drop a crude oil extractor on each oil field the moment you have the materials, since these are the whole point of the base. Each extractor needs power, so plan its generator within a couple of tiles.

   Lay a stone foundation apron connecting both extractors and the Palbox into one continuous work floor. Smooth flooring keeps transport Pals from snagging on Sakurajima''s rocky, mushroom-studded terrain during hauling runs.

   Build the power district: generators beside each extractor plus one spare for the production line, and assign at least two high-level electricity Pals such as Orserk or Grizzbolt to keep everything charged continuously.

   Ring the compound with metal-tier defensive walls and a single gate, then station combat Pals and turrets at the gate. Wild syndicate patrols and raids at this level hit hard enough to crack stone, so metal is worth the refined ingots.

   Install the refining line along one apron edge: production assembly lines, an electric furnace, and crushers, arranged in processing order so transport Pals move materials in one direction from extractors to output chests.

   Set up dedicated storage: one chest bank for crude oil beside the extractors and another near the assembly lines for polymer and finished goods. Keep the flow one-directional - oil in the west chests, products in the east - so restocking runs stay fast.

   Add full life support in one corner - hot spring, high-tier beds, feed box stocked with quality food, and cooling for the electric Pals'' comfort - because a stalled extractor crew wastes the entire site. Then let it run and collect drums of crude every session.
